Being Frugal

I love design. Everything about it. However it drives me crazy when I see something in a magazine that I love, but definitely out of my price range. So I try to recreate it. I create what I see on a more friendly budget. Like most of us I cannot spend $1000 on a rug. I mean who am I kidding I won't even spend a $200 on a rug. I like things to be cheap. I didn't say I like cheap things, that is completely different. I just like things to be cheap and if I can, free. I think its in my upbringing. Am I the only one who thinks this way? I can't be. Anyway, I created this blog to show how I can recreate things I love and hope that I will inspire someone to do the same.
